QN Smiles Covid-19 Masks Policy

In reference to Governor Abbott's Executive order GA 34 from 3/2/2021

Dear QN Smiles patients and families,

As the new statewide mask mandate has been lifted, we wanted to share our current policy on mask wearing in our office.

Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, ruled on March 2, 2021 that Executive Order GA 34 lifting the mask wearing mandate does not lift TSBDE’s emergency rule; the Governor’s initial COVID-19 disaster declaration is still in place for Dental offices like ours.

Therefore, our interim protocol for COVID-19 remains in effect, we will continue to completely disinfect the waiting room, all exam rooms between patients and all staff will be wearing masks, face shields, gloves along with other PPE.

As a patient, we expect you to please wear a mask in all public spaces in the office (waiting room and operatory) out of respect for others safety as well as protecting your own.

If you are uncomfortable wearing mask, we ask kindly of you to reschedule your appointment to a later day as we must comply with TSBDE’s emergency rule for COVID-19.

We appreciate your attention to this policy and are hopeful that we are moving toward the end of this pandemic.

Kind regards,

Your QN Smiles Team.
